Target Audience

Researchers and students in the biomedical and clinical research sectors who are interested in exploring whether multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) and artificial intelligence–deep learning (AI-DL) can be incorporated into their research lines. Participants are likely already familiar with traditional methods of tissue immunoprofiling and are currently working with microscopy images.

Workshop Goal

Participants will become familiar with the basic concepts of mIF and AI-DL, and how these differ from traditional approaches. They will learn about the advantages and disadvantages of each method and receive a basic introduction to using some of the tools available for this type of analysis. By the end of the workshop, they will be able to assess whether mIF and AI-DL techniques are appropriate for their research. The workshop provides the foundational knowledge needed to begin exploring and integrating these methods into their projects.
